That's a bit moot for the moment, though - it turns out JSONb works fine with attoparsec 0.9, despite the cabal file restrictions.

Ok, could you contact Michael Snoyman <michael@snoyman.com> the maintainer of
data-object-json could be upgraded to using JSONb? He is very active and might
help to resolve this issue.
