I've been using the -darcs PKGBUILDs of xmonad, xmonad-contrib, and xmonad-extras from AUR just fine for a long time.  Until the ones in [community] get updated, I suppose.

I've just compiled it, contrib and extras on top of [haskell] and I
find it works great too.  Just surprised to see Arch remaining on an
