Hi all,<br><br>Attached please find a patch intended to resolve ticket #164.&nbsp; A few things:<br><br>&nbsp; * Is this the canonical way to submit patches?&nbsp; Or am I supposed to attach it to the ticket on the trac?<br>&nbsp; * I am very interested in feedback on this patch: suggestions for improvement in style, implementation, or organization, suggested refactorings, better error message, and so on.<br>
&nbsp; * I tested it as well as I could (it compiles, and works correctly on the several packages I tried) but more thorough testing may be required; I&#39;m not sure what the best way is to really &quot;put it through its paces&quot;, so to speak.<br>

Hi cabal folks!<br><br>In an effort to help out with Cabal stuff, I&#39;m going to start by taking a crack at ticket #164 on the trac (bad error message with undefined flags).&nbsp; Just thought I would claim it as &quot;mine&quot; so no one else steals my lollipop. =)<br>
