What happened about the program 'happy'? Did it magically start working?

I made a symbolic link in /usr/bin to ~/.cabal/bin/happy

Lately I found an option for the cabal install command that may fix the same problem.

cabal install haskell-src-exts --with-happy=~/.cabal/bin/happy

It may work as well.
