validate uses options from mk/validate.mk as always. Nothing should have changed there. You say it doesn't work anymore. How do you know?

I want to validate, but to compile my stage-1 compiler with –O0.  How do I do that?

GhcStage1HcOpts += -DDEBUG -O0

to mk/validate.mk, but that doesn’t seem to work any more.

What now?
