Nick Partridge hit this recently and he's got PR's pending for Happy and Alex https://github.com/simonmar/alex/pull/37 and https://github.com/simonmar/happy/pull/12

I'm not using GCC. (In my previous message, I made a typo. "GCC" should be read as "clang"). So, I think that this is a different problem. --Kazu
