Wow, this is a pretty nasty error message. In particular because it
relies on the overloaded nature of integer literals.

We actually had another such situation come up in #haskell yesterday, btw. Someone confused type constructors and data constructors, and the error message assumed they wanted DataKinds and type level programming. This is kinda bad for newcomers.
