With the caveat that syntax highlighting is broken out of the box in vim.  It works fine for plain .hs files but breaks -- and badly -- for latex-literate .lhs files.  I'm sure you can go hacking around to find the problem and fix it, but it really is an entry barrier if you're not already a vim addict.
