Hi Carter,

I do have Xcode 5 installed, this is the strange thing.
Do you suggest to try reinstall Xcode or to downgrade gcc? (I'm using 4.8 atm).
Also, the error is triggered by base, do you think I should try reinstalling ghc compiling with the newly installed gcc?

I've did the trick of installing gcc-4.8 as described here:


I'm running a compiled version of ghc 7.6.3 (so not installed via the Haskell platform).

Have anyone stumbled upon this?
