       I have written quite a bit of multi-threaded code in ANSI C and C++ using mainly Posix threads and some using Win32 API threads.  IMO now seems to be a huge opportunity for FPLs to shine .. In any case, now there seems to be an emerging crisis in the computer industry in multithread scalability over large multicore: http://www.hackinthebox.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=27292&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0. This is kind of a "wrag" quote. Do others have more substantial URLs on programming large multi-cores?
