Well in that case, GLFW seems to run fine on OSX. See http://glfw.sourceforge.net
GLUT is portable but has many different implementations. I already had
a couple of nasty bugs using it (different keyboard handling, incorrect
joystick support, etc). So it's best to always include the GLUT library
that was used when you did your testing

But, that's certainly one of the reasons I'm using plain GLUT at the
