Introduction
of the School:
Software
Engineering Institute of East China Normal University (SEI/ECNU) was
established as one of the first 36 pilot software schools in China. Professor
Jifeng He, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the dean of
the institue, who worked at Oxford University and the United Nations University
International Institute for Software Technology for over 20 years.
SEI/ECNU offers BSc in
Software Engineering, MSc and PhD in Computer Science. In order to reach to the
international level, the Bilingual teaching style has been applied; i.e., the mixture of English
and Chinese.
SEI/ECNU also focuses on
research. It holds many research grants supported by Chinese government,
including 863 and 973 projects. Currently, the Institute is carrying out the
construction of 985 innovative platform in the area of highly dependable
computing.

Duties and
Responsibilities of the Applications:
The successful
applicant will need to develop an active research program. He/She will also need to
contribute to the teaching program in
the Institute. He/She should be active in applying research grants.

Requirements£º
Applications are
invited for several full-time academic positions as at the level of Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor. Applicants should have a PhD in a discipline relevant to Computer
Science, with strong research records. Applicants with research and/or teaching
experiences in any of the areas mentioned above are welcome to apply.
