I would be happy to see a libraries request that proposed removing all the re-exports from the next major release of mtl.

I've never been a fan of the current approach. It makes is so if you need to hide something you need to hide it from up 10 sources some times.

This! I know it's off-topic but: I did the same. MTL has some nice features... it wasn't worth the hell of it's re-exports.
Re-exporting is the devil's work, I say!
