So: claiming a release, then not hitting it, then not even getting

Some of us have been complaining about *that*, too. But the HP devs are not, by and large, the xmonad devs; airing that *here* just adds to the general frustration without doing anything to help.
I'd kinda like this to be about getting xmonad releases back on track, and not a general b***hfest.
