Testpack[1] is being considered for removal. It's requiring more and more patching and the upstream author has not been responsive lately. There are no other packages depending on it so there is no impact on other packages in [haskell-core].
If anyone out there is depending on the package please speak up, so we can discuss what to do about it.
I'll leave a week for users to speak up and start the discussion. If I've heard nothing as of 27 March I'll go ahead and remove the package.
I was about to say that git-annex depends on it, but I checked and the latest release got rid of it.
It is still of my long term goals to easily provide git-annex dependencies. However since this a binary package only these are only build dependencies.
The package has now been removed from the repos, and I'll push the change to github later today. /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus
