the PKGBUILD files in "extra" have been generated with ancient versions of cabal2arch, like 0.4.1, and because of that they lack features such as the generation of Haddock reference documentation. Is there any way for us to update those files? Who has the ability to do that?
You'll need an Arch dev to do that. Raise a bug on the bugtracker for the package in question.
I opened a bug report about this on January 22 -- 8+ months ago --, but the fact doesn't seem to impress those the Arch devs much. It certainly didn't impress Vegai much, who has been assigned the bug but doesn't seem to give a damn about it: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/17960 Xyne, you are a trusted user in ArchLinux, right? Is there any way that I could maybe submit updated PKGBUILD files and have someone, anyone, put them into the abs repository? Take care, Peter
