I would suggest we don't add any new packages that currently don't build with GHC7. What do you say? /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus

Hi Magnus,
I would suggest we don't add any new packages that currently don't build with GHC7. What do you say?
yes, I think that's reasonable. On a similar notion, do we currently have (non-HP) packages in HABS that don't build with GHC7? If that is the case, then I would like to inform the maintainers of those packages in order to increase our chances that a fixed version has become available by the time we would like to switch. Take care, Peter

The packages I found yesterday (that's before the addition of Nicola's changes today) where network-bytestring numeric-prelude sifflet-lib sifflet web-routes I've contacted upstream for all those packages. /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus

I had forgotten the discussion on network-bytestring that took place a while ago. It is now superseded by network >=2.3, so we should plan to remove network-bytestring completely once we move to GHC7. /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus
