Re: Can I help to maintain Haskell packages on AUR?

Hi Don,
the AUR packages haskell-{hsdns,hsemail,funcmp} are out-of-date for quite a while now. According to gour, the reason is that the ArchHaskell team lacks developers to perform the updates.
I would be happy to contribute some time and effort to the project. Can I help in some way?
Yes, I think you can. I need to package up my scripts so that it is easy for anyone to update our packages. Stay tuned for more details. -- Don

I'd also like to transfer ownership for some of the haskell pacakges to arch-haskell and help maintaining them. Cool.
I'd also like to transfer ownership for some of the haskell pacakges to arch-haskell and help maintaining them.
My sketch of a plan is: * cabalize all the scripts that update packages, and update stats. * release them * collect a set of Arch Haskell TUs who have the upload password. We then all just work on picking packages off the Hackage queue and update them (it's mostly automatic).
