Hey all, cabal2arch is updated and building packages, under ghc 6.12, with the new tweaks: - full dependency listings - fixed to find the haddock index. You should be able to update via your favorite provides-supporting package tool, e.g. sudo bauerbill --build-as $USER --no-color --noconfirm --aur -S cabal2arch So I think we're in better shape now. Many packages in AUR are missing their dependencies on e.g. haskell-network or haskell-mtl, so I'll script up a full rebuild of AUR against ghc 6.12, at which point we'll be done. I've started with the most popular packages. So, e.g. haskell-binary is now updated. -- Don

I've updated the top 50 AUR packages. Will script up something to update the rest. Looks like most things are going to build fine!
The 6.12 move is almost complete.

Sweet! Your doing better than me. Took me over an hour to make the switch from yaourt to bauerbill. I had no idea that yaourt was broken. Got that much switched over now at least! (The problem was a line with "" around it in my makepkg.conf). Thanks for all your effort! Lewis

You can see which packages have been updated to 0.7 cabal2arch here: http://www.galois.com/~dons/arch-haskell-status.html Click on the 'cabal2arch' column twice to sort decreasing by vers #, to see what will build using the new policy. -- Don
