Another update in the works

I'm trying to catch up with a few updates again. Please refrain from changes to the git repo in the mean time. /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus I invented the term Object-Oriented, and I can tell you I did not have C++ in mind. -- Alan Kay

I was hoping this would be done in the morning, but woke up to find that I ran into a problem with ld causing an OOM when building crypto-api. A bit of manual work seems to have gotten me past that now. /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus Most software today is very much like an Egyptian pyramid with millions of bricks piled on top of each other, with no structural integrity, but just done by brute force and thousands of slaves. -- Alan Kay

I ran into another issue: an update to *authenticate* somehow caused a change in the type of a Facebook authentication function, which in turn prevented a function in *yesod-auth* to type check properly. Unfortunately that wasn't exposed until building about 93 out of 98 packages. Reverting the update of *authenticate* fixed that, but made me restart the build. Hence the long time to produce the updated packages. /M -- Magnus Therning OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4 email: magnus@therning.org jabber: magnus@therning.org twitter: magthe http://therning.org/magnus Perl is another example of filling a tiny, short-term need, and then being a real problem in the longer term. -- Alan Kay
