[Hackage] #926: bootstrap.sh with --global ignores PREFIX

#926: bootstrap.sh with --global ignores PREFIX ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Reporter: milkypostman | Owner: Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Cabal library | Version: 1.10.2.0 Severity: normal | Keywords: Difficulty: unknown | Ghcversion: Platform: | ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- If you run the bootstrap for cabal-install and specify `--global`, the script ignores the PREFIX environment variable. This means that it's impossible to install anywhere else besides `/usr/local/` using `--global`. Here is a patch. -- Ticket URL: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/hackage/ticket/926 Hackage http://haskell.org/cabal/ Hackage: Cabal and related projects
