In view of the problems with using MinGW-built DLLs with a VS-built interpreter, I suspect we'll have to support building the libraries using a VS-built runhugs and ffihugs, but driven by the MSYS shell. That will need changes to Cabal. Does ffihugs (built with VS) work (i.e. produce something that loads and runs with hugs and winhugs)?
