Urk. Couldn't libraries/Foo/configure put these in HsFooConfig.h for inclusion in package.conf.in to avoid both versions of this horror?
I think I'll really have to take a look at it and make things easier and less convoluted, but yesterday evening I just wanted something that works... :-] Cheers, S.
