Tue Sep 3 05:16:21 PDT 2002 malcolm * Syntactic re-arrangement of FFI calls in the source language. * The calling convention is now mandatory. * We add `cast' and `noproto' as local calling conventions, in addition to the standard ccall, stdcall, cplusplus, dotnet, jvm. The latter four are not implemented, but generate an error message. * The safety spec now includes `unsafe', `safe', and `threadsafe', but these are all ignored in nhc98 for the moment. (All calls are safe, and we don't have threads.) * The safety spec now comes before the entity string, not after.
