Because cEnter is called on every reduction step, any improvement in its speed should go a long way. At the moment, it looks like we gain only about 1.5% by eliminating tests in C that are no longer useful. However, by eliminating its NmType argument, we hope that we can change some of the transformation/combinators, to produce much fewer NmType nodes in the file.
