How to make double-clicking work

Hello, I am new to Linux, I can not open a *.hs file e.g. alpha.hs with "open with ghci" .It does not work. How can I make it work (is there anything like a path variable that I have to use?). Any help welcome. Thanks Jan

darcs-1.0.3 added to Fedora Haskell repos

I submitted darcs to Fedora Extras a few weeks ago, but since it hasn't been reviewed yet... I finally went ahead and updated the darcs package in Fedora Haskell to 1.0.3. See http://haskell.org/fedora/ for more information about Fedora Haskell. Jens * Important Note for current users of Fedora Haskell - The epoch from the darcs package was dropped in anticipation of the package going into extras... so if you're using darcs from Fedora Haskell already, you must first remove the old darcs package before installing the new one. Sorry for the inconvenience. - The repo url has changed: please remove "RPMS.stable" from the end of urls pointing to the repo. Please see the above webpage for more details.

[FYI] ghc now in Fedora Extras

I'm very excited to announce that ghc has finally been included in Fedora Extras. :-) The current package is ghc-6.4-1%{dist} which is less than what is currently in Fedora Haskell (ghc-6.4-7). (There is no real difference between the two packages currently so there is no need to "upgrade" to the Extras package yet, though the next build will probably be greater than 6.4-7.) Since ghc is rather heavy to build/download/mirror though, I will probably still do initial builds for Fedora Haskell and push stable changes gradually to Fedora Extras. For more information on using Fedora Extras see <http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/UsingExtras>. Next I'm planning to contribute haddock (needed to build ghc's documentation of course) and darcs to Extras. :) Other contributors are of course most welcome. If you have any questions or concerns about this, free to ask. Jens
