PLEASE ENDEAVOUR TO USED IT FOR THE CHILDREN OF GO
by Mother Serena Jones 20 Nov '03

From: Mrs Serena Jones PLEASE ENDEAVOUR TO USED IT FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD. I am the above named person from Kuwait. I am married to Dr.Harry Jones who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast for nine yearsbefore he died in the year 2000.We were married for eleven years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days. Before his death we were both born again Christians.Since his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of$8.6Million (Eight Millionsix hundred thousand U.S. Dollars) with one finance/security company in Amsterderm Holland. Presently, this money is still with the Security Company. Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next three months due to cancer problem. Though what disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to church or better still a christian individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct here in. I want a church that will use this fund to fund churches, orphanages and widows propagating the word of God and to ensure that the house of God is maintained. The Bible made us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don't want my husband's hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers. I don'twant a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner. Hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace. I don't need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health because of the presence of my husband's relatives around me always. I don't want them to know about this development. With God all things are possible. As soon as I receiveyour reply I shall give you the contact of the Finance/Security Company in Amsterderm Holland. I will also issue you a letter of authority that will prove you as the original- beneficiary of this fund. I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord is my shephard. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Whoever that wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and truth. Please always be prayerful all through your life. Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for a chuch or christian individual for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping to hearing from you. N.B-PLEASE I WILL ADVICE YOU TO CONTACT THE LAWYER IN CHARGE IN HOLLAND IMMEDIATELY, HE DOES EVERYTHING ON MY BEHALF AND HE'S VERY UNDERSTANDING AND I BELIEVE HE WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR SUCCESS IN JESUS NAME: Medube Ben Smith TELL: 00 31645840763 Email: medubeben(a)netscape.net Remain blessed in the name of the Lord. Yours in Christ, Mrs Serena Jones

It is true that strictly speaking we don't need to say anything here. But I think it would be helpful to include a footnote as a guide to implementors, something along the lines of [1] Note that if the platform defines __STDC_ISO_10646__ then wchar_t characters are Unicode code points, and thus the conversion between Haskell Char and CWChar is a simple cast. On other platforms, the translation is locale-dependent just as for CChar. And the paragraph in question could be just The module \code{CString} also exports a variant of the above string marshalling routines for wide characters, i.e. the C \code{wchar_t} type[1]. We don't want to restrict the standard to sensible systems, because that rules out Windows :-). On Windows, wchar_t is UTF-16, which is a profoundly silly situation and seems to be the main reason that UTF-16 exists at all, but there's not much we can do about that. So, the standard should say that the system converts appropriately between Haskell's Unicode Char and whatever the system's encoding for wchar_t is. We don't want castCharToCWchar, because the encoding of a Char into wchar_t might result in multiple wchar_ts. In practice, I'm not sure we'll have the energy to implement this properly. We might get around to implementing a UTF-16 conversion for Windows, but for Unix systems I imagine we'll restrict ourselves to sensible systems. Cheers, Simon

ANN: H98 FFI Addendum 1.0, Release Candidate 15

Release Candidate 15 with all the changes discussed since RC13 is now available from http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~chak/haskell/ffi/ The only open problem are a set of questions raised by Simon and Ross to which I have previously answered with another set of questions (see the attached message), which is were the discussion stopped. In order to get it going again, I propose the following: * We require from a FFI library implementation only that it supports CWString and the associated functions on platforms, which are Marlow sensible. * On other platforms a FFI library is free to do what it wants (eg, not support these functions at all or attempt to implement something similar). And here now a probably naive question of mine: Does the notion of Marlow sensibility coincide with platforms that follow ISO/IEC 10646? Cheers, Manuel -=- Changes since RC14: * 6.2: CWChar -> CWchar * 6.3: - CWChar -> CWchar - Stated explicitly that memory allocated by `newCString' and friends can be deallocated by `MarshalAlloc.free' - Improved documentation Changes since RC13: * 5.3: Fixed typo * 5.7: Fixed a mistake in the type of `peekByteOff' and `pokeByteOff' (the type variable constrained by `Storable' must be different from the parameter of the `Ptr') * 6.3: Improved documentation

MR. WILLIAMS LAWAL PACIFIC BANK OF SOUTH AFRICA, 9TH FLOOR, HEERENGRACHT TOWER, STANDARD BANK CENTER, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA. DEAR SIR, I am Mr Williams Lawal, the Branch Manager Pacific Bank of South Africa, Cape Town .I have urgent and very confidential business proposition for you. On June 6,1999, an American Oil consultant/contractor with the South Africa Mining Corporation, Mr. Charles Anderson made a numbered time (Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$20,000,000.00 (Twenty Million Dollars) in my branch.Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, the South Africa Mining Corporation that Mr. Charles Anderson died from an automobile accident. On further investigation, I found out that he died without making a WILL, and all attempts to trace his next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr. Charles Anderson did not declare any kin or relations in all his official documents, including his Bank Deposit paperwork in my Bank. This sum of US$20,000,000.00 is still sitting in my Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one will ever come forward to claim it. According to South Africa Law, at the expiration of 5 (five) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the South Africa Government if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you as a foreigner to stand in as the next of kin to Mr. Charles Anderson so that the fruits of this old man's labour will not get into the hands of some corrupt government officials. This is simple, I will like you to provide immediately your full names and address so that the Attorney will prepare the necessary documents and affidavits which will put you in place as the next of kin. We shall employ the service of two Attorneys for drafting and notarization of the WILL and to obtain the necessary documents and letter of probate/administration in your favour for the transfer. A bank account in any part of the world which you will provide will then facilitate the transfer of this money to you as the beneficiary/next of kin. The money will be paid into your account for us to share in the ratio of 70% for me and 30% for you. There is no risk at all as all the paperwork for this transaction will be done by the Attorney and my position as the Branch Manager guarantees the successful execution of this transaction. If you are interested, please reply immediately via the private email address williamslawal111(a)uboot.com. Upon your response, I shall then provide you with more details and relevant documents that will help you understand the transaction. Please observe utmost confidentiality, and rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us because I shall require your assistance to invest my share in your country. Awaiting your urgent reply via a return email Thanks and regards. Mr. Williams Lawal williamslawal111(a)uboot.com
