Dear all, I am happy to announce that GHC 6.12.2 is now available for FreeBSD as a vanilla binary package on i386 and amd64 platforms [1]. This is also the first release that includes FreeBSD as a Tier 1 platform (i.e. "supported platform"). These are not official FreeBSD ports, so they do not support many fancy stuff that the Ports Collection already offers, like handling dependencies and removal of installed files. But hopefully this will be converted to a conventional port (like lang/ghc-devel) soon. Please, do not hesitate to report if you have any problems with the packages.
