Hi all, I start a little updating process. At this moment I sent these PRs: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/142071 During the next two days I'll send many patchsets updating many ports and introducing many new ports. You could check this link: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr-summary.cgi?category=&severity=&priority=&class=&state=&sort=none&text=&responsible=&multitext=&originator=jacula&release= Jacula Modyun

Hi Samy, this is only a little step :-)...because between today and perhaps tomorrow I'll send many patches to update the ports and introduce many new ports. Jacula

Hi everyone, Thanks for the port updates :). In <4b386f0b.0f975e0a.4ad6.4256@mx.google.com>, Jacula Modyun wrote:

Jacula, are you also updating GHC 6.12.1 ? If not, then I'm doing some work on updating it, and it is currently building in another screen. I'm building it for FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE (amd64) using the instructions provided by you during in 6.10.4 timeframe, and using your updated ports. I'll post updated shar file here in a day or two. GHC 6.12.1 excludes many modules. e.g. Control.Monad.Trans. So mtl also needs to be packaged. And, any ideas about bsd.haskell.mk ? Thanks -- Ashish SHUKLA

during these days are updating the haskell ports and I couldn't update ghc, so thank you very match for your work on it.

I think it needs to make a new port (as lang/ghc-devel), because perhaps some ports could have building problems with it.
And, any ideas about bsd.haskell.mk ?
I know :-(, but the time is so small...then when I find a moment I start reviewing it. Jacula

Well, it is time to fire up my tinderbox to test your patches :)

That might be a good idea.

An updated version of it could be passed to the Ports Management Team for a test run, so it can be put in the tree. Then hs- ports might start to use it, as the resources permit. Cheers, :g

this is very good, and I hope to contribute with all you at my best. I sent less new ports than I could, because I built many others, but I haven't any time, now, to test all them (also the haskell-mode for Agda (see http://projects.haskell.org/haskellmode-emacs). In the next weeks I hope to send them. I'm sorry, I'm having many new university tests. Jacula
