I assume you can reproduce this by running "/usr/bin/dblatex" -P 'filename.as.url=0' docs/users_guide/users_guide.xml --ps -o docs/users_guide/users_guide.ps It looks like your dblatex is telling tex to write under /tmp, but tex doesn't think that it is allowed to write there.
