Dear Takano, did you manage to apply fold/build fusion to the standard libraries, and run nofib? I guess your starting point should be http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/Building/GettingTheSources and then you can start changing libraries/base. Best if you create two working copies, one that you do not change and one with your changes. Then you can run nofib in both: https://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/Building/RunningNoFib and compare the results. Do you need help with that? Come by #ghc on freenode!
