Alas, I don't have many spare development cycles at the moment, especially given the relatively tight timeline for 8.0.1.

I'm afraid I also don't have the bandwidth to pick this up. I have opened #11583 to track this issue. I hope someone is able to pick this up before the release. Cheers, - Ben
