I am happy to at long last announce the release of the 8.0.1 source distribution to binary packagers.
I am going to build it in my Fedora Copr repo. One thing I noticed is that Cabal got reverted from version 1.24.1.0 in RC4 to 1.24.0.0? Is that intentional? (I managed to build cabal-install-1.24.0.0 with Cabal-1.24.1.0 but not 1.24.0.0 with RC4.) Thanks, Jens
