I am indeed working on this. Unfortunately I have been unable to get Travis to build my branch due to unrelated reasons, so validating that my fix indeed fixes the issue has been a slow process.

For the record I've partially reverted the patch in question until we have a chance to get all of the necessary core library changes upstream. Cheers, - Ben
