building for Mac

When the bin-dists are built, can we have them built with a 10.6 or 10.7 target? If built that way, they should run on all greater OSes. I don't think there is a reason not to. The current bindists, built on Mavericks, seg fault 11 when run an 10.7 or earlier. - Mark
