IRC: Logging #ghc with ircbrowse.net?
Hello GHC developers, In the past we have relied upon Phabricator's Chatlog application to log the #ghc freenode channel. While Chatlog did its job admirably, it seems that Phacility has deprecated it with no proposed replacement. Thankfully, there appears to be no shortage of alternatives. In particular, Chris Done's ircbrowse.net seems to offer a great deal of functionality and already mirrors a number of other Haskell-related channels. Would anyone be opposed to adding #ghc to the list of channels monitored by ircbrowse.net? Cheers, - Ben
+1 from me. I don't have any preference to which service to use, as long as we
have a logger with good uptime. I was regularly checking the logs when it was
working.

Hello everyone! I'm happy to report that #ghc is now available on Chris Done's lovely ircbrowse.net [1]. Thanks to Chris for his help in making this happen. Note that currently there are no logs for any time prior to the last few days. However, I have ZNC logs which Chris said he may be able to import which cover the last several years of #ghc activity. If there is no objection I would like to have him import these so we have a more permanent archive of the channel. Does anyone object? Cheers, - Ben [1] http://ircbrowse.net/ghc
