The target value is 40624322224 +/-10% and my numbers suggest it's been steadily climbing out of that range. I added five lines of comments to GHC's source code, and one of the Haddock performance tests fails (see below). That's all the patch contains.

Don't worry, I think it's niteria's patch that is to blame here. Diffusion is a convenient way to check the state of the tree [1].
