Regarding compiling without {{{-O}}} I just work with one big file that has all the things that interest this bug in ghci. Re (1) I was wondering when the unification of types and kinds might happen, it's good to hear it is happening. And also , not enough information is the problem I feard but as I'm only starting to get the hang of things I hoped there was something I overlooked. I will wait then and see what can be done.
