I suggest to replace it by {{{ This file contains tabs (e.g. line n column m); please use spaces instead }}} or (to be nice to tools that parse this output) {{{ Main.hs:1:1: Tab found here, and in n further locations. This is good, but there should be way to unsubscribe from a bug as well. Also, and I’m not sure if this is the same thing or not, if I put myself in the “Observer” list (possibly wrong translation), I cannot undo that. As I've just elaborated there, I believe the case for me was that I encountered this without touching any files after typing 'make', which, according to the wiki, is probably a bug in the build system. In any case I haven't seen this in a long time. The memory used is in the order of tens of gigabytes, but I've not been able to successfully compile the file due to lack of physical memory.
