Currently I can only make this test fail with `-DS` in non-threaded runtime, and that's because of the new sanity check I added with 82d1a88dec216d761b17252ede760da5c566007f. Hopefully this should be easier to fix as assertions failures are usually easy to figure out. The commit merged with MR:103: 74cd4ec5d2f9321aad5db3285cb60d78f2562996 Note that the commit in comment:3 was later reverted because it broke things. I'll try that commit again as it may have just revealed some of the bugs we fixed in the meantime.
