I have removed Cygwin and tried again - crash is still there in msys 2.0. {{{ I'll really need a dump or a linker log, but the latter requires a debug version of GHC. }}} For some reason crash dumps are not collected, even though I followed the instructions you linked. I can try building a debug version of GHC and get it a go.
