I agree that it would be nice to have more structured statistics. `-ddump- timings` is a good start but I do regret the choice of ad-hoc output. I think it would make a lot of sense to have this produce, for instance, some sort of simple JSON document which could be easily and reliably slurped into another language for analysis. While this is technically possible now I think I've implemented around three different fragile parsers.
