I've been treating the wiki page as append-only, so I'll add a section
We don't in this case (yet) but we sometimes do. A little odd, I agree, but the shortest path to a decent outcome. that explains the final design. Let's _not_ treat it as append-only! Put the final state of affairs at the top; if there is some illuminating history then dump it at the end clearly labelled. If not illuminating, discard it.
