However, @Elieux who is usually in #GHC might be able to help. In the mean time I have opened an issue on their tracker https://github.com/Alexpux/MINGW-packages/issues/1765 and asked for the patch to be applied. Since we host the binaries ourselves anyway we can also just choose to apply them ourselves if they don't want to do it.
