#9117: Coercible constraint solver misses one -------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: goldfire | Owner: nomeata Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Compiler | Version: 7.8.2 Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Unknown/Multiple | Architecture: Unknown/Multiple Type of failure: None/Unknown | Difficulty: Unknown Test Case: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Related Tickets: -------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Comment (by simonpj): I don't think it's related to #8555 at all. #8555 is to do with "given" constraints, whereas this ticket is entirely about wanted ones. But you make an excellent point about overlap with the newtype-unwrapping instances. I can't see an easy way round that.
