#11745: In GHC Download section it is not stated that ARMv7 build is only for 32bit ARM --------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: varosi | Owner: Type: bug | Status: closed Priority: low | Milestone: Component: Compiler | Version: 7.10.3 Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Operating System: Linux | Architecture: arm Type of failure: Documentation bug | Test Case: Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | --------------------------------------+------------------------------ Changes (by bgamari): * status: new => closed * cc: erikd (added) * resolution: => fixed Comment: ARMv7 is a 32-bit architecture; if you have a 64-bit ARM box then you are using an ARMv8 chip. We currently don't have a binary distribution for ARMv8. Regardless, I can update the download page language to clear up any confusion. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/11745#comment:2 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
