Have the same problem on Linux amd64 with 64-bit GHC.
Given that this issue was opened 5 years ago, no new reports have been made since, and [http://qthaskell.berlios.de/ qtHaskell] itself seems dead (There is https://github.com/keera-studios/hsQt, which does seem active), I'm going to close this issue.
