I want that information to tell when to regenerate the binary. Yes, I use a `gmake` files to build my binaries even for `ghc` generated binaries. `gmake` is very convenient and useful as is `ghc --make`, but it is difficult to combine these two. For now, I can always call `ghc --make` but it takes extra build times. Especially when there are many binaries to build.
