-1 from me. I usually want to use a minimum of flags; the compiler messages help me switch them on in a controlled, deliberate sequence. Flags/pragmas around Overlaps and `IncoherentInstances` I would never want to be enabled automatically: if I've written instances needing incoherence, I've done something wrong.
