I think this is doable. One thing worth stressing is that in your scenario the programmer has to '''explicitly''' say where they want the call-stack to be cut off (or to kill it altogether). This is in stark contrast to the existing scenarios, where call-stacks are handled entirely behind the scenes by GHC.
